Due to the long weekend and rug rats with no school I was unable to properly proofread and edit my next post. As a place holder I offer you a shot of my laptop screen previewing my upcoming short film "bacon".

"Seek those who are seeking truth, run away from those who have found it"

That quote has been rattling around in my head for years. It is so wise that it gets attributed to a who's who of great thinkers. I like to think of myself as a seeker. In the coming posts I am going to talk about some pretty deep philosophical questions but all I offer is opinion. My process. No answers. No truth. I love the concept of a version of the English language called 'e prime'. Basically e prime attempts to formulate language without the use of the word "is". On one level this could be just a fun rhetorical exercise. On another it forces us to be more cynical about the words we choose and think more deeply because it acknowledges that all exists is metaphor and opinion. Temper everything you read with that idea. I am seeking, in this case out loud in a public forum. That is the other part that is a little strange for me. I've always considered seeking to be a personal journey so at first I wasn't even sure I wanted to start this. Fortunately I like to write so I hope you enjoy.
